Daniela Filosa studied piano and composition at the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory in Naples. Her piano personality was guided and shaped by teachers such as Maria Luisa Carretta and Bruno Mezzena at the Accademia Pescarese. Passionate about chamber music (via courses at the Conservatory with Valeria Lambiase) she has devoted herself to concerts with different ensembles, performing at festivals and venues across Europe including the Ravello Festival at Villa Rufolo, the Mozart Week of Chieti, Ticino International Festival, Milano Musica and the Holywell Music Room, Oxford. Playing together represents both the completion of research and a starting point for new musical adventures. The vision of one partner is enriched by that of the other (sometimes opposite!) and becames her own again, in a continuous becoming, just as the two instruments merge in a game of opposing balances and movements.
